Otto Aissmann was an Austrian-born German tank commander who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross for bravery in the Second Battle of Carpiquet in June 1944. He was credited with 43 tank kills from 1944 to 1945, when he was killed in action near Braunau.
