M1 Garand

M1 Garand

The Kriegsmachine-1 (KM1) was a model of the M1 Garand used by the Wehrmacht during World War II. The first copies were produced in 1942 after some copies were captured by the German Military, but they never saw real service.

History Edit

The Kriegsmachine-1 was invented by Corporal Claus Warguber. Warguber invented it following his capture of an M1 Garand in the North African Campaign in 1942, and passed the formula to the Wehrmacht. The Kriegsmachine used a WG Type 1 bullet, and the KM2 was invented to handle different bullets. The weapon was never mass-produced, and was only used in a few battles.
