SS Panzer Division
The Das Reich Division, also known as the 2nd SS Panzer Division, was a Waffen-SS panzer division that served in World War II.

History Edit

The 2nd SS Panzer Division served in the invasion of Poland, the Fall of France, and many other campaigns, and was the division that undertook the Fall of Belgrade in 1941. Afterwards, they fought on the Eastern Front during Operation Barbarossa, and fought the Russians until it was sent as reinforcements to the Western Front in June 1944. The Das Reich Division fought well during the Battle of Seves Island on July 23, but was forced back on July 27. After fighting in France and the Low Countries for the rest of 1944, it withdrew into Germany, fighting there until it was destroyed by the Allies.
